Feadship Christina can put her leeboards in the water again

On Feb. 1, Capt. Allison Thompson and Eng. Scott Fratcher took command of the 1957 Feadship De Vrouwe Christina, DVC for short. At 80 feet overall and 95 tons, she is one of the most traditional of all Dutch designs, the sea tjalk.

"We get approached all the time by people who worked or sailed on her," Fratcher said.
